Postdoc Opportunity, Peace Accords Matrix, University of Notre Dame
The Peace Accords Matrix (PAM) is looking to hire a new postdoc with policy expertise. PAM is ongoing research project at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies, University of Notre Dame, that focuses on examining peace accords around the world, and provides consultation with governments and intergovernmental agencies on accords.

Essential Duties
PAM seeks a person who has a deep understanding of the global policy community of peacemakers and peacebuilders, their roles, functions, needs, and orientation in order to communicate with them, influence them and increase the relevance of PAM’s work. The successful candidate will:
• Produce policy-relevant research products (including policy reports and briefs), drawing on PAM’s experience and research, incorporating but not limited to the PAM’s work in monitoring the Colombian peace agreement in real time since 2016
• Contribute to relationship building with current and potential benefactors and donors.
Required Qualifications
• a Ph.D. in political science, sociology, peace studies, economics, or another relevant discipline, with research interests related to evidence-based policy research, inclusive and participatory peace processes, and mediation and global affairs
• knowledge-management experience in the peacebuilding sector and deep understanding of the research products that policy makers in that sector find useful
• demonstrated experience writing evidence-based, policy-relevant reports and briefs
• demonstrated data analysis and interpretation skills
• proficiency in both English and Spanish
