DESCRIPTION:

Please join the University of Notre Dame's Institute for Advanced Study and the Rwandan-American community of the Midwest for a memorial event of the 1994 Rwandan genocide. Speakers include Mathilde Mukantabana, Rwandan Ambassador to the United States, and Professors Fiacre Benvenu (College of Wooster), Emmanuel Katongole (Notre Dame), Hollie Nyseth Brehm (The Ohio State), Rachel Sweet (Notre Dame), Ernesto Verdeja (Notre Dame, ISG), and moderator Daniel Groody (Notre Dame).
